A couple of foreclosed homes in my parents' neighborhood are going on auction for the 3rd or more time. As for the guy being too young- don't be so quick to judge. My husband and I bought our home just last summer at 24 and 23 years old respectively. Thankfully we bought within out CURRENT means and got a 30 year fixed FHA. And no, we didn't have wealthy family members pitching in for the purchase, we are college grads and both had good jobs, we were fortunate to qualify for down payment assistance.
