Veterans In the hands of claims processors

Comment on this Article from the New York Times:

Accountability is something that is respected and honored for one’s actions in our country’s military. The Veterans Benefits Administration, because of its awful claims handling, apperently doesnt believe in accountability. In defense of the administration, they usually recieve about 82,000 claims a month, that is not a small number by any stretch. With 13,000 claims processors working for the administration, you would think they could put some kind of dent in that 82,000. But as stated before, the administration has lost its value in accountability. As a result, veterans are paying the price for defending our country.
